Across Florida, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Has 4 different kinds of kolaches and a large selection of cake and yeast donuts. A dozen donuts is 10.75 per the sign on the wall. A half dozen kolaches was 17.something.

This place is amazing I look forward to going to it every time. I don't think about no other donut or croissant... if I'm out and about but it closes at 12:30....So you have to get there early it's nice and fresh and light. Incredible donuts and food... And the people are nice too. I'm on my way there now.... In a few. ππ©π₯

I love daylight donuts! Truly a hidden gem in Gainesville. The family that owns it is so sweet. Sometimes for larger orders the owner throws in a few free donut holes! My favorite items are the Kolaches, the apple fritters & the blueberry glaze donut. They have many unique donuts as well like red velvet, fruity pebbles toppings & even a bacon topping!

First time trying this place, and omygosh my husband and I are the biggest apple fritter fans. It has been so hard to find a good one in Gainesville. Hands down best in town. Actual pieces of apple, the glaze makes it test gooey and crunchy at the same time, and it doesn't taste like fake sugar like many others. We also tried the jalepeno, cheddar sausage buns, everything was sooo good! Also the lady at the counter had great customer service.

Stopped by for a quick snack since reviews were great. Donuts were fresh but not spectacularβ¦ no one there so service was good. The outside of the plaza could use a face lift but nothing to do with the quality/service of this place. Would I go back? Only if driving by! Thereβs no tables to sit at inside.
